I explore physical transparency as well as emotional transparency and vulnerability in this series. I was able to experiment with the physicality of transparent objects while playing with their appearance when affected by light by using small pieces of colored plexiglass. I investigated emotional transparency by attempting to capture moments of genuine sensation – moments that oftentimes are seen as far too intimate to be shared. Using the human body as a point of focus I examined each movement's relationship to feeling and raw emotion. I created a series that encapsulates the passing of time while also exploring two levels of transparency by layering images of the body over each other and placing them in sequences.
